Online Usability Study of Inventor Websites
This is a study of the effectiveness of websites about inventors and
inventions. You will be using one of two websites containing information about
them.
- You will do this study by completing a few tasks using
the website.
- This is not a test of you-- this is your evaluation of
the website.
- All the tasks involve finding answers to questions about
inventors or inventions.
- You may use any features of the entire site to find the answer, but
you may not use other sites (like Google or Yahoo).
- If you happen to already know the answer to a question, please try to find
the answer on the site anyway.
- It may not be possible to answer some questions using the site. In
that case, choose the option that says "Can't be answered using this
site"
You will need to set aside about 15 uninterrupted minutes
to complete the exercise, as time spent is part of the study.
Everyone who completes the study by Friday, April 25, 2008, at 11:00 pm
(Eastern U.S. time) will be entered in a drawing for a $20 Amazon gift certificate!
